Winter Pop Up card with Snowflakes

Welcome back to our new Let's Craft and Create Challenge #119 called 'Winter'.  Come join us and enter your card or project with us and share you information.  Also, you might become our next winner for a prize.

I love making cards or projects with the gorgeous blues and white colors for the winter theme.  This card wasn't easy to photo but the black background turned out the best so that the camera was fooled and the photos weren't over exposed.  It took me longer to finally take the right photos than to make this card since the photos were under exposed or over exposed.

I used the Tattered Lace Essential Pop Up die set to make the foundation for this card. Throughout the card, I used the fantastic NUVO by Tonic Studio - White Blizzard glitter drops to add glitter to the snowflakes, the snow on the ground (below photo) as well as to make snowflakes on the backgrounds such as the photo below and on the background of each deer scene.
I used the gorgeous Pion Design Greetings From The North Pole Mid Winter Night card stock for the scene in the back with the Memory Box Snowflake die on the back.  I had numerous miniature snowflakes that came out of a Martha Stewart Snowflake border punch so I glued two snow flakes on clear acetate so that it would looks like the snowflakes are in the air.  The village is a Cottage Cutz Winter Wonderland Border.

This is the Impression Obsession Sled die with the Pion Design Greetings From The North Pole Mid Winter Night  card stock.   I used the same NUVO by Tonic Studio - White Blizzard glitter drops
I cut one of the deer out from the Memory Box Trio Deer set and used the other two deer on the other side of the pop up box.  Both "Let It Snow" and "Winter Wishes" are dies in a set of the Tattered Lace Christmas sentiment die set.  I used a Memory Box Scattered Snowflake stencil for the scene with the deer above and used the Sue Wilson Snowflake embossing folder the background below with the two deer.

The sentiments are from the Graphic 45 Twelve Days of Christmas and the blue paper is from the Maja Design Vintage Frost Basic.

This is the pop up card folded and I put a small ribbon around the pop up card to send it in an envelope. The top snowflakes are from the Cheery Lynn Design and the bottom
snowflake border is from Sue Wilson Designs.

Hope our wonderful design team inspired you to make your winter projects and cards this year.  Stay tune for the next month for another wonderful challenge from
 Let's Craft and Create.
