Mindy's Box

For grandchildren, us Nana's go the extra mile to make birthday gifts for them.  Actually, these covered wooden boxes really didn't take that much time to make with a hot glue gun and the wonderful supplies from The Rubber Buggy on-line store.

This is a 8x8" wooden box is covered with the stunning Stamperia Flower Alphabet paper with the gorgeous

Prima Marketing - Frank Garcia - Memory Hardware Resin Frames - Vincennes Regal Frame that I colored with pastel Copic Markers.  The beautiful sentiment inside the frame is also in the Stamperia Flower Alphabet paper pad that I cut out and glued behind the frame.

No shabby chic project goes without adding the gorgeous Venise Lace, rhinestone or pearls.

I used these gorgeous two sheets from the Stamperia Flower Alphabet paper pad collection to cover this wooden box using Prima Marketing Memory Hardware Artisan two-sided adhesive 1" tape and a hot glue gun.  I added some NUVO Shimmer Glitter Gloss pen on the sentiment and the flowers to make this stand out more.  You will really love the NUVO Shimmer Glitter Gloss pen for most of your cards and projects.  It is a light shimmer that is just beautiful and easy to apply.
The beautiful floral alphabet was cut out and glued on the front side of the box with the lace glued with a hot glue gun and the Graphic 45 Shabby Chic Door Pull.
I added some pink 10mm Wild Orchid Craft roses on the lace.  The Rubber Buggy has a variety of flowers in different sizes for your projects and cards.

I made my flowers using the beautiful LeCrea Design Pink/Red Flower Foam.
I added small rhinestones in various places on the front to make the shabby chic look stand out a little bit more.

Venise Lace

So I hope I have inspired you to get started on making your foam flowers and using the Stamperia products.   You can purchase the Stamperia papers from The Rubber Buggy on-line store.

Enjoy and Happy Crafting!
